Who am I? I am Andrew Gretton.
I work for a digital marketing agency, dotDigitalGroup, in our email marketing business unit, dotMailer. I write code; sometimes it’s tough; usually it’s fun. This takes place in the not entirely glamorous but perfectly nice Croydon. I spend increasing amounts of time working with the problems presented by scaling. Scaling drives the business guys crazy in a good way, because it means the business is growing. It drives the technical guys crazy in a good way too, because we’re working, in a microcosm, on the same problems that the sexy companies like Twitter are working on.
I am happily married and live in the unbelievably beautiful Brighton. I spend too much time on the sofa, with my laptop, reading Reddit.
